Rebecca Ferguson // Nothing’s Real But Love

After posting the amazing Logistics remix of Rebecca’s debut single, I was worried that the studio version would let me down. Luckily my fears were unnecessary, as the Liverpudlian singer has given us what could possibly be the best debut even from a past X Factor contestant.

Rebecca’s voice is so rich against this laid back, soul filled song. The acoustic number is accompanied by an arrangement of drums, piano and oh so soulful organ notes, which give such old school soul vibes.

Sounding like a mix of Gabrielle and Adele, with a little bit of Beverly Knight added in for good measure, Rebecca may have herself a winter hit with this new track. So hold all X Factor judgement aback while listening and give this a chance.
